Lead Childminder
Amanda brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She specialises in creating a warm, modular-inspired environment that encourages exploration and emotional growth.
A little more about me
Dedicated and compassionate professional with diverse experience across mental health, early childhood education, and care for autistic adults. Skilled in providing tailored support to individuals with mental health conditions, promoting emotional well-being, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
In a nursery setting, I developed strong interpersonal skills, working closely with children to foster their development and learning through structured activities.
As a Deputy Manager in a day centre for autistic adults, I successfully led teams, managed daily operations, and implemented person-centred care plans. Building positive relationships, advocating for individuals' needs, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards. Passionate about creating inclusive environments that empower individuals to thrive.
As a Manager of a large Nursery (100+ children) I handled every aspect of day to day running but never lost touch with the children in my care, I knew every one of them personally as well as my staff team.

Why LA Daycare
Why us? we like to think we are doing something different in the market space, LA Daycare is a childminding service being ran as if it was a large scale nursery providing a hybrid of the two environments.
We have dedicated rooms within our property that do not have a dual purpose, the daycare environment benefits from its own dedicated kitchen area, bathroom and garden space.
SEND is something we can cater for, our team has extensive experience in this field, we can work with you to help your child flourish.
